Victoria Street level crossing crash

Services are delayed on the Fremantle Line after an incident involving a small truck at the Victoria Street level crossing.

The crash occurred at about 4.40pm today, when a Perth-bound train clipped the rear of a mid-sized truck which was waiting to turn into Curtin Avenue.

No passengers or Transperth staff were injured in the incident.  The condition of the truck driver and other motorists is unknown but there are thought to be no serious injuries.

Bus replacement services are running between Fremantle and Loch Street stations, with trains running as normal between Loch Street and Perth.

Passengers should note that surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including replacement buses.
