Freedom of Information request

The FOI Act is designed to make State and local government agencies more open and accountable to the public

Freedom of information

In keeping with our aim to provide information to the public in a cost-effective and prompt manner, PTA documents will be made available outside of the freedom of information (FOI) process wherever possible.

If the required information is not routinely available, the Western Australian Freedom of Information Act 1992 gives interested parties the right to apply for access to PTA documents, and to ensure that their personal information contained within those documents is accurate, complete, up-to-date and not misleading.

Freedom of information statement

Our statement provides details on the types of information available, the FOI process and how to make a FOI application.

Applications should be addressed to the Freedom of Information Coordinator, Public Transport Authority, PO Box 8125, Perth Business Centre WA 6849 or by email at CorporateIssues@pta.wa.gov.au. Telephone enquiries should be directed to 9326 2557.
