Description:

Above the Clouds features the Wedge-tailed Eagle not only because it’s an iconic Western Australian bird of prey but because it is a celebrated native species of Whiteman Park. The mural depicts the Eagles in flight over a background of abstract swamp and Stout Paperbark leaves and flowers. The deep blue of the eagles represents the sky and the background of light grey reflects the subtle colours of the coastal plains within the park, whilst also reflecting the beauty of the Melaleuca shape and form. Currently there are two known families of Wedge-tailed Eagles nesting within the park.
