Disruptions to Fremantle Line evening train services between Fremantle Station and Showgrounds 9 Dec

Transperth wishes to advise that evening services on the Fremantle Line will be disrupted between Fremantle Station and Showgrounds from 8.00pm Tuesday 9 December 2003 until 4.30am Friday 19 December 2003, due to rail improvement works.

During this period, train services between Fremantle Station and Showgrounds will be replaced by a bus service from 7.43pm to 4.30am, Saturday to Thursday.

Friday night train services will NOT be affected.

Last through services during this period are:
Perth Station to Fremantle departs 7.00pm
Fremantle to Perth departs 7.31pm

Train services outside this time will NOT be affected.

Rail replacement bus service 606 will pick up commuters at the red rail replacement stops near train stations between Fremantle Station and Showgrounds.

All services will stop at Loch and Grant Street stations during this period.

To meet train connections, buses will depart Fremantle Station 16 minutes before scheduled train departures.

Line closure times will alter to accommodate train services during special events. This includes Christmas Pageant train services on 13 December 2003.

Please note that surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses.

The journey will take longer so please allow extra travelling time.

Normal train services will resume after 4.30am Friday 19 December 2003.
