Youth Engagement Program

The PTA Educate Youth Engagement Program includes resources designed to promote safe, responsible behaviour when catching public transport. With engaging resources for year 7’s to 10’s linked directly to the Western Australia School Curriculum Standards Authority, there’s lessons that be delivered to address:

The program aims to:

  • Increase understanding of appropriate conduct on public transport
  • Promote safe travel practices
  • Raise awareness of the risks associated with unsafe behaviour.

In addition to school-based program delivery, support is also provided to support Juvenile Justice Team engagement opportunities. Developed in collaboration with the Department of Justice, this program is designed for use with Juvenile Justice teams. It tackles issues such as: 

Responsible Behaviour

Anti-Social Behaviour

Trespass and Risk-Taking Behaviour

Note: PTA Educate will be updating CGEA Resources in 2026 to align with the updated curriculum.
