The Public Transport Authority is seeking expressions of interest from local artists to create a new piece of public art to feature on Cockburn Central Station's high-profile tower.
In a community survey earlier this year, almost half of the more than 2,400 respondents voted for a new piece of artwork to replace the station's previous Faces of the Community display, which was removed last October amid safety concerns. Some of the common themes suggested included Indigenous artwork, native fauna, flora or landscapes, and works created by local artists.
Submissions will be shortlisted to three, with the shortlist to go out to a community vote later in the year.

Applications close Tuesday August 4 at 11am.
