Annual Report 2025–26

The Public Transport Authority's Annual Report 2025–26 provides an overview of our performance, achievements and priorities over the past year.

It highlights how we continue to deliver safe, reliable and accessible public transport services for Western Australians, while investing in the infrastructure, people and services that will support the future needs of our community.

About this Report

 

This report covers the performance of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and its operating areas during the 2025–26 financial year.

Go anywhere fares deliver greater value for customers

Public transport became more affordable and easier to use across Western Australia during 2025–26, with the introduction of new fare structures across the Transperth, Transregional and Transwa networks. Read more

Australind Train

Clickety clack, the Australind is back!

Arriving to a festival-like fanfare at Bunbury Passenger Terminal, the first new Australind train made its inaugural passenger journey on Sunday 28 June before formally entering passenger service the next day. Read more
