Artist/s Statement:

Maaman Bilya Bidi (Men’s River Path) describes a day of hunting and interaction with boodja (land). The younger men learn off the leaders, interacting with the bilya (river), building a relationship with the animals, trees, plants, river and Country.

By the men of Midland.

The Moorditj Maaman Men’s Group is a group of local, Midland-based Aboriginal men who get together to deliver a range of cultural activities that includes art, dance and language.

The Public Transport Authority acknowledge that Noongar languages are oral in nature and that one word can be spelt in multiple ways.
