Artist/s Statement:

Country is not just land but a source of identity, belonging and culture. The connection between a mother and her child's soul, is a journey of spiritual development for both. Sharing their understanding of themselves, their history and responsibilities to the environment and protection for our future generations. The vines and leaves represent the struggles and trauma overcome with future generations (represented by circles). The lines surrounding are the country we all live and walk on together.

The Public Transport Authority acknowledge that Noongar languages are oral in nature and that one word can be spelt in multiple ways.
