Title: Connecting us Together

Artist/s: KinXt

Year: 2025

Category: Integrated

Site: Long Park, Queens Park Station precinct

Location Details: Ground plane and seating

Medium: Sandblasted concrete

Artist/s Statement:

A strong sense of connection to a place involves feeling a sense of belonging, familiarity, and attachment to the environment and it's people. Reconnecting our families and coming together is represented by the cog in the centre of our communities.

Large circles represent our many generations past, present and future. With the surrounding footprints of children and wildlife playing and living in harmony. From strength to strength we grow.

The Public Transport Authority acknowledge that Noongar languages are oral in nature and that one word can be spelt in multiple ways.
