    TransRegional town bus services

    COVID-19 Service Reduction Notice

     

    TransRegional (an umbrella brand of Transperth) is managed by the PTA's Regional Town Bus Services team, who coordinate school and town public bus services in regional WA.

    Under arrangement, the various town bus services are provided by a range of contractors from within the regional locations.

    ‘Trans’ branded bus services operate in 14 major regional towns. Seven of the towns have intra-town bus services, while all 14 have town school bus services. In addition, the PTA also provides seven inter-town services.

    There were more than 2.24 million total boardings in the 2017-18 financial year.

    TransRegional towns

    Towns where TransRegional operates include:

    Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Busselton/Dunsborough, Carnarvon, Collie, Esperance, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Karratha/Roebourne, Kununurra, Manjimup, Narrogin and Port Hedland.

    Please note: as school timetables are often adjusted during the school year, please check with the Transperth InfoLine or with your local operator for the most up-to-date service information.


    TransGeraldton Service Disruption

    From Monday October 12, TransGeraldton services will be disrupted for approximately six weeks in order to facilitate roadworks.

    Major works will take place in the vicinity of Durlacher Street (between George and Waldeck streets) and also Maitland Street (between Cathedral Avenue and Durlacher Street).

    As a result, the following stops will be unavailable:

    • Durlacher Street after George Street       Stop 70173
    • Maitland Street after Durlacher Street    Stop 70059

    The following routes will also be affected and may experience some minor delays. See TransGeraldton Disruption Service Changes for more information below.
