In the past month, more detailed information was given to the three shortlisted respondents to help develop their proposals, which are due in November 2015. The latest geotechnical studies took place and the refreshed website is soon to be launched.

The second geotechnical drilling program is well underway with more than 100 bore holes drilled and 70 monitoring wells installed along the future rail route.

The first major contract for the Forrestfield-Airport Link project was awarded in September for geotechnical studies and since then, the project has come a long way. These studies have been continuing to find out more detailed information about the ground conditions.
