Yagan Square entry coming to life
Those of you who walk by the Perth Busport site on a regular basis may have noticed the plywood on the entrances have come down and have been replaced with glass. But a lot is happening on the inside as well.
The Yagan Square entry will be the station’s largest. It will also be the closest entry to Perth Station and house Transperth’s newest InfoCentre where passengers can speak to friendly staff about service information and journey planning, add credit to their SmartRiders or pick up a timetable.
The images below show an artist’s impression of the Yagan Square entry as well as an in-progress pic. You can clearly see the ceiling fins in place as well as the steel framework for the InfoCentre. If you look closely you can even see the wiring in place ready for the artwork that will have LED lights ‘chasing’ each other around the lines of metallic oval shapes.
