Transperth gives you wheeeeeeeeels

Red Bull air race fans from all over Perth will be able to catch a special bus to the best viewing vantage point on the South Perth foreshore this weekend – but the ferry won’t be operating.

Extra capacity trains will also be provided and, on Sunday afternoon, additional services will operate to help get spectators home.

Transperth’s last ferry service for the weekend leaves Barrack Street Jetty at 11am on Saturday.

The special bus service (Route 747) between the Esplanade Busport and the South Perth foreshore will run every 10 minutes on Saturday (between 9:30am and 5pm) and every five minutes on Sunday (9am to 5pm).

Passengers must have a valid ticket to travel on Transperth services for the event.

Full details on how to plan your Red Bull outing is available from the Transperth InfoLine 13 62 13 (TTY 9428 1999), or through the Transperth website (transperth.wa.gov.au).
