Special Transperth service a cracker

7/10/2004

Transperth has come to the rescue of Mandurah residents who risk missing the last bus home if they stay at the Royal Show long enough to watch the evening fireworks finale.

A special, late service from Fremantle Station will enable Show patrons to watch the fireworks spectacular and still have time to catch a train to Fremantle to connect with the bus service.

Tomorrow (Friday October 8) and Saturday (October 9) nights, buses will leave Fremantle Station at 10.15pm and 10.30pm.

The buses will operate express to the first Route 867 bus stop on Mandurah Road, then via route 867 to the Mandurah Bus Station.  The special service will be designated Route 667.
