Bassendean Station upgrade and revitalisation of Old Perth Road

  • New Guildford Road traffic signals
  • New overpass and station platform

The new Bassendean Station overpass and upgraded station platform will be open from Monday 31 May 2004.

As of Monday, the new traffic lights at the intersection of Old Perth Road and Guildford Road will also start operation.

Pedestrians are asked to use the signalised pedestrian crossing at the Mildand end of this intersection to access the new overpass and station.

Access to the old overpass will be closed as of 31 May 2004.

Pedestrian access across Guildford Road at the Perth end of the intersection will be closed until the old overpass is removed in mid-June.

Drivers are asked to take care when approaching these new traffic signals and be mindful of pedestrians crossing.
