The Public Transport Authority’s private road to the Kewdale Freight Terminal is being closed permanently from Monday December 5.
The closure of the road is required as a safety audit has shown the private road access was not conforming to current standards.
The road has been used as an unofficial access between Fenton Street and Sheffield Road. With this route no longer available, Kewdale Road can be accessed via Kurnall Road and Dowd Street.
The area will be fenced and gated.
