Edgewater Station upgrade
Photograph: Edgewater Station

Work began in June 2010 at Edgewater to upgrade the station’s platform facilities. The station will get:

  • a new canopy
  • better wind and noise protection
  • a lift
  •  improved customer information systems

The new canopy will be constructed to include the existing covered area of the pedestrian overpass and extend south over the stairs.  A section of the existing platform canopy will be retained for extra shelter.

An area within the car park will be fenced off as a site office for  the period of construction, temporarily reducing the number of bays by 50. There will also be fenced areas on the platform surrounding the construction area.

For further information on this project, please email Lynda.Gray@pta.wa.gov.au or phone 9326 2623.
